Privacy policy.
Plain English, because that’s how we write everything. Effective July 2, 2026.
What we collect
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address. If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, topic, and message. That’s it — we don’t collect anything you don’t type into a form yourself.
How we use it
Newsletter addresses are used to send you the newsletter — nothing else. Contact form submissions are used to read and reply to your message. We never sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing.
Where it lives
This site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests to serve the site and stores form submissions. Newsletter subscriptions are managed through Beehiiv, the platform that delivers the newsletter; Beehiiv records standard email engagement (such as opens and clicks) so we know what’s worth writing more of. Page typography loads from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested, as with any web resource.
Cookies
We don’t use tracking cookies or advertising pixels. The site stores one small value in your browser’s local storage if you dismiss an announcement banner, so it stays dismissed. That value never leaves your browser.
Removing your information
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link that works instantly. To have your address or contact messages deleted entirely, email chris@thepennantsports.com and we’ll take care of it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Questions? chris@thepennantsports.com.
